#1-Eureka Evidence Theories
—
I never did figure out about why the word Eureka was dented into the paper that was wrapped around the 1909-S VDB Lincoln cent and the heart necklace? If you have a cool theory, please explain it below.

I know because its the final coin for her collection! Please reply.
Maybe, but I never heard anything of that old coin being the last one she needed.
Maybe since it was really old, she might have really wrote it, but the writing disappeared and the dent from her writing it was still there.
Please reply!!
Hmmm. I wonder what kind of ink or pencil would disappear. You’ve got an interesting idea.
I think the paper said EUREKA because the person that wrote it finally found a way to communicate in secret. Please write back.
But the letter was from her sister. I don’t think she needed to communicate in secret.
That was the street that Ms.Prott lived on or maybe that was just the message!
eureka means i found it
Well, what I think is that Eureka means Horray beacause of the
penny= $220!
Except it would not be worth so much back in the 1950s.
I think my theory is that …… Cause the the saying EUREKA!!!!!(maybe not the exclamation marks in itπ³π³π³π³π³) which means I FOUND THE GOLD…EUUUURRRREEEEKKKKAAAA!!!! like when your happy and all in that mood. So maybe the coin is made out of gold or it was really old so it meant a lot to the USA’s history. You should show it to the president.
P.S. I was from California so you could see how I know these stuff πππ
Good thinking…except the coin was a penny, made out of copper, not gold.
Maybe G. J. wrote the letter on top of the envelop (I know it’s spelled with a P, i just wanted you to know that I read the book)?
Actually this kind of envelope has an”e” at the end!
maybe georgie had shoes on that were made by a company called eureka. Then he by accedently stepped on it.
Ha! That is very funny. Georgie is a klutz, but I don’t think he stepped on the letter.
That wouldn’t be possible because they said the letter was in a envelope so that would be hard to get through both !!
I don’t know…
What it you were pressed down really hard?
she wanted it to be a mystry…..
Maybe her sister was excited about writing to Ms. Prott and decided to write EUREKA on the outside. But she was so excited she pressed down on the envelope so hard, when she was writing EUREKA!!! And she didn’t notice she had indented the envelope until after she had done it.
That makes a lot of sense.
Has anyone realized that Glenora Jean Prott now lives in “Eureka” Avenue? Maybe G.J. in the previous letter asked, “What neighborhood should I move to? Only secretly write it so no enemies can read the street of my new house.” That way the sister would have replied, “Eureka” in a secret way.
That is VERY imaginative, but I don’t think a nice, old lady like Glenora Jean Prott had enemies.
You never know…she might have been a spy when she was young.
That would be so cool to know someone who was a real spy!
I think that since she was dying she gave Glenora some of her treasures (eureka).
i think it said it because the person who finds it is all like “EUREKA I FOUND A !()( PENNY!!”
can you guess what !()( is?
I think it is an unhappy cyclops with a flat hat on sideways.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
lol
Sorry, forgot the book. Had to re-read. Starting over:REWIND REWIND REWIND…
Maybe it was written in Europe (close to Eureka)and they wrote it to someone like you back then. Never know. Anyways,I still think it was just a prank to one of their friends back then or so. Plus, Eureka Avenue now gives me an eerie feeling everytime I go down it for some reason…like somebody is watching me as I drive down the road…
Eureka is nowhere close to Europe. You have a good imagination, but it sounds farfetched to me.
I think Eureka was indented because it was all just a little prank. Obviously,Eureka is something someone says when they have an idea, and maybe they were saying “Eureka! I’m going to pull a prank on the Mac & Cheese boy! (No offence)” And,like me,I write while I talk so while he/she was saying “Eureka” they accidently indented it in. Seems legit to me.
maybe when they (the prott sisters) were younger they made up a secret language and it was oppisits so eureka ment something bad, like someone was dying.(g. j. protts sister)
I think that the Eureka was in that letter because it was to make kids think that they had found some kind of treasure to make you rich.
How could that be? The letter was written over 70 years ago. And how could they know it would be kids who’d find it?
cheesie i think it was from Eureka who sent the letter
do you think so?
Possibly. I don’t know.
Because it was eureka avenue
