#1-Favorite Food Poll

(Voting is below the images.)

What is your favorite food? Would you like to vote in my poll?

(This is NOT a poll for favorite snack or dessert. Maybe I’ll do that on an other webpage someday.)

The choices are in alphabetical order. Pick one! But if you or anyone else in your house has already voted, you don’t get to vote again (all the voting choices will disappear…cool, huh?). You can come back to look at the poll results as many times as you want.

Comments from my Readers & Friends

    • Hi! This is Georgie. Cheesie is downstairs getting a snack, so I am glomming onto his computer while he is feeding his face.
I can tell you are a very smart person.
      (Becuz I am yr fave)

      • I have banished Georgie from my room!

Could it be accurate that you are commenting from Spain? That’s what my internet data says.
My Granpa has been to Spain. He said he loved it there.

        • Hi Cheesie! Yes, I’m from Spain! Sorry I didn’t see this comment sooner, it went to spam and I found it now! Spain is beautiful in some places! Barcelona and Granada are the best. I’ve never been to Granada because it’s in the south of Spain and I live in Catalunya so… But my parents have gone and I’d LOVE to go.

Please let Georgie back inside your room, he’s really nice. But I don’t blame you for wanting to get a snack!
Wow, that’s a REALLY long comment!!

          • Of course I let Georgie back into my room. He’s by best friend, so I always put up with his jokes and stuff.

I told Granpa about your commenting from Spain, and he told me he was in Spain when he was much younger. And then he got all quiet and dreamy-eyed because I think he was remembering something really nice…but he wouldn’t tell me what it was.

          • Hmm… I wondered what your Granpa remembered. And no amount of badgering from either you or Georgie got him to tell you? You could call in Goon for reinforcements. Or hold a Mack Supreme Court where you’re attacking him, like your mom did.

I’m glad you let Georgie back in 😉 By the way, I tried subscribing to your newsletter, but when I clicked on the link, it took me to the bottom of the page. Can you fix this? Thank you!!

          • There are some things that Granpa just won’t talk about. Mostly stuff from his childhood. He is private about those things…and I guess I just have to leave it like that.

          • I guess you will have to leave it there… Oh well…Cheesie, by the way, how’s school with Covid? Did your school shut down? There was a positive in my class so now we’re home supposedly till next Wednesday. BUT! Another girl tested positive so now we’re stuck here for another week. How about you?

          • I will tell you the truth if you tell me the truth. My computer indicates that you are commenting from eastern Spain…somewhere close to Barcelona. Is that true?
I don’t think I have ever had a comment on my website from Spain.
            This is exciting.

          • Ok fine. Yes I am writing from near Barcelona. I actually live 45 minutes away! If it helps, I live about 3 or 4 minutes from a tiny town called Sant Esteve de Palautordera, that’s where my school is!

This is exciting too! I love your books!

          • If you read my Book #2, you probably know that I am beginning to learn Spanish. I am very terrible at it so far, but you are probably EXCELLENT.

I have a world map on my wall. Today I stuck a yellow push pin in Spain…exactamente encima de Sant Esteve de Palautordera (aunque obviamente es demasiado pequeño para mí mencionado en mi mapa).

[CONFESSION: I had to ask for help to write that…and I don’t even know if it’s good Spanish.]

          • Hi Cheesie! I’m sure you’ll get better at your Spanish! I’m sort of good at it, I don’t really like speaking Spanish. I prefer Catalan, which is what is mostly spoken in my school. El català es com el castellà, es una llengua llatina. Catalan is like Spanish, it’s a Latin language. Your Spanish there is good, up to the point where you said “es demasiado pequeó para mí mencionado en mi mapa”. That doesn’t really make sense. If you ever need help, you can always ask me!! See you!

          • I have reviewed what I wrote in Spanish (and asked one of my grandparents—she knows a lot of Spanish—for some help). Does this make sense:
aunque tu ciudad es obviamente demasiado pequeña para que la encuentre en mi mapa

          • Oops, I meant to say “pequeño”! My accents and the letter “ñ” are right beside each other and when I type they sometimes change places. My keyboard is alive! Help! It’s -arghh- att-yikes!-acking me! Quick! Send for -yow!- help!!! AAAAAAARghhhhhhh *voice fades into the distance as keys jump around*

Yes I’m crazy. Did you need more confirmation really?

          • Ooooohhhh, yes that makes more sense! It’s actually not a city, it’s a town, but meh. I bet the townspeople will be happy to have been called a town by “The Greatest of Great Cheesieeeee Maaaaaaack!” hehehehe See ya

      • Hi Georgie! Thank you for telling me I’m smart! I think you’re smart too. I love how you flip things over your head with your toes!

    • Me, too. I like lots of stuff on my pizza, like mushrooms, sausage, olives, chocolate chips (just kidding).

    • Me, too. And yesterday I ate one whole turkey leg. I dipped it in BBQ sauce about 100 times until it was just one big bone!

  1. I have lots of favorite foods: Udon noodles in Japan, lobsters and other seafoods, pizza, hot dog, and pasta.

  2. I pesonaly love strogganoph. it as a pasta and maet combination that you can personalise any way you want

You may ask why I did not put pasta

Well its because this stuff is better than pasta

    • My grandmother Meemo makes that…and I love it. I asked her how to spell it: STROGANOFF. She makes beef stroganoff…with egg noodles. YUM!

    • I ate tacos last night. REALLY! My Granpa made them. He puts TONS of hot sauce and japaleños on his.

    • Hey,Cheesie! My favorite food is anything mexican. I think its because my mom ate a bunch of mexican food while she was pregnant with me. Or because i spent the first three years of my life in texas, eating the stuff. Either way, I absolutely LOVE spicy food.
