Hi!

Everyone calls me Cheesie, but my real name is Ronald A. Mack. The A is for Apton, which is a weird middle name. It’s my mother’s maiden name. I think most kids HATE their middle names. I actually don’t. R. Apton Mack is actually kind of cool sounding…but I like Cheesie best.

Here’s some stuff about me:

  1. I have brown hair, brown eyes, and three freckles on my nose. I also have a whitish scar on my thumb where a fishhook stabbed me when I was on a lake with my dad. I was eight and fooling around. Don’t ask.
  2. My birthday is August 16. I’m now 11, which is, IMO, a very cool age to be.
  3. My ears stick out. But you can probably see that in my picture above. It used to bother me, but now that I’ve written about my ears in my book, a zagillion (that’s a gazillion times bigger than a gazillion) people know, so I say…so what? And this is the last time I’m going to mention them on my website!
  4. I have three grandparents (plus one who died a long time ago), two aunts, two uncles, and two first cousins. I also have the meanest older sister in Massachusetts.   5. I am a very fast runner. One of the fastest in my class, but I haven’t actually raced every kid. I’m on the sixth grade cross country team.
  6. I like sports. Especially baseball and soccer. And I’m a good swimmer.
  7. I read lots of books. Especially adventures.
  8. I love to write about my adventures.
  9. I love words.
  10. And I like making lists…like this one.

    1. I guess it has been a long time since you read my books because I always say where I live right at the beginning of each one: Gloucester, MA. I like penguins.

  10. also you can’t tell who is who even though my brown hair has brighter highlights and we both have brown eyes no one can tell us apart sometimes………………something interesting we were born on the same day but 1 year apart. 🙂

    1. I don’t watch wrestling. In fact, I don’t watch a lot of TV because I am writing a lot…and I like sports, mostly to do outside.

  21. We loved reading your first book. It is an Illinois Bluestem Nominee. We want to know who won the point contest between you and Goon?

    1. The Point Battle is still going on. In fact it goes all the way through my fifth book, which doesn’t even come out until August. I guess you’ll have to read #2, #3, #4, and #5 to find out.

    1. Thanks for reading my book. Here are my answers to your questions.
      –I love school. I have great friends, great teachers, and great fun.
      –I love all kinds of animals. If you read the rest of my books, you’ll find dogs, snakes, tortoises, spiders, and lots of other creatures. I think nature is really interesting.
      –My favorite animal is my dog, Deeb. She is smart and friendly…and is, IMO (in my opinion), the smartest dog in Gloucester, MA.

  38. Hey Cheesie.two words. Your awesome!! I think that G.J.Prott is a miss though, because if she is a ms. then she would have been married and then got divorced.
    And in your first book you said that she said about her sister and her were prott sisters. so if she got didn’t get married, I think she is a miss.

    anyway… all that is left for me to say is six things and that is:

    You may remember me Allie beth from Fitch Mountain Campus.You visited my class in P.S.S.T. It was very enjoying when you told us that very detailed story,i all ready told my parents all about it.i am not very far in to your book and that disapoints me because, when ever i start to read that book i get very entertained the other day did not want to stop reading. i am sadlyonly on pg. 59.But i can not wait to read again tonight.i also can’t wait to read the rest of all your books.i hope thay when my little sister KATIE gets in 5 grade she get the book and the chance to meet you and of corse hear the story that took place in camp it was creepy and comical!

  47. I read your first book and I thought it was really cool. I do actually think you really are a genius and clever. IMO I think IMO is a very cool abbreviation. You are an awesome book writer. P.S. do you want to be a famous writer when you grow up? I think you would be very good at it. If not a writer, what do you want to be?

    1. IMO you are a very good commenter. I do want to be a writer when I am an adult. But maybe when I go to college I find something else I like more. My mother says she always wanted to be a lawyer, but she changed her mind and now she’s an air traffic controller.

  49. I read your book I thought it was very funny but I don’t know witch book it was I scraped off the number by mistake but anyway I disliked the part when gio your friend kicked deb off the bed
    im a boy not a girl to tell you 🙂 do you play xbox 360 if you do try out this game called supreme commander 2
    and check if supreme commander forged alliance or just plain supreme commander

    1. Thanks for your comment, Avery. I have played on an Xbox360, but not so much. You can probably guess I am really busy writing, so I don’t have much time for video games. But Georgie does. And he’s really good. He does not have that game, however.
