#1-Ms. or Mrs.
I think Glenora Jean Prott was a Ms., not a Mrs., but maybe you have a different opinion.
Here’s the way I figured it:
1. She told us that she and Elaine were the Prott sisters.
2. That meant that they both had the same last name.
3. In the olden days women always changed their last name when they got married.
4. Glenora Jean was still a Prott, so she didn’t change her name.
5. Therefore, she never got married and was Ms. Prott.
Please tell me if you think I am wrong or you have a different way to figure this out.

it could’ve been a mrs. I mean, what if they married twins or something?
Yeah, I guess. But that seems kind of rare.
She could be a widow and changed her name back to Prott. She could also be divorced and changed her name back to Prott.
Good thinking.
she did not have a ring on her left hand ring finger so unless she was not wearing the ring she would not be married (or maybe she didnt have a wedding ring i wonder if some religions dont have wedding rings but something else to symbolize their marriage or maybe they only have their love to show
Good analysis, but what if she had been married, but wasn’t wearing a ring anymore? There are lots of possibilities.
MS.
What if she was married to someone in her family and he passed away. She could of married her cousin.
I guess so.
No that no work cuz no marry fam
I think she was a ms. (idk why)
Maybe she had Gotton a divorce?.!
Maybe you’re right. I don’t know.
youre probably right
ms. prott waz prob. married but she got devorced
G. J. Prott (Glenora Jean Prott)could be a Mrs because her husbands last name could also be Prott.
You should also see if she has a ring on her right or left ring finger
Nope. No ring. But she could’ve had one and taken it off when her husband died…if she ever had a husband. Which I do not know.
You should see if G.J. has a ring on her right or left ring finger. If so,she probably is or was married.
No ring.
Was she wearing a wedding ring on her ring finger on her left hand? If so she is PROBABLY married.
No ring.
DID SHE HAVE A RING ON HER FINGER,IF SHE DID SHES MARRIED IF SHE DOSENT SHES NOT MARRIED.
Yes, but what if she USED TO BE married…and isn’t now?
She doesn’t have a single proof of her marriage.
and therefore you could be wrong
True again.
That would be really rare.
BVut you could be right, I guess.
she and her sister could have married brothers and have the same last name
True.
I agree that she is a Ms. because she said she was living all alone and she didn’t seem like she was mourning a husband, just her sister. I also agree with the evidence you used. Why don’t you just ask her?!?
I don’t know. I guess I thought it was none of my business. If she wants to tell me, maybe she will some day.
She could have just decided to keep her madam name. Because back then women didn’t always change to the mans name.
Actually, my Granpa says just the opposite. Back then almost all women changed their names.
Gj Prott could be either one.A girl does not have to change her
last name. Therefore it could be either one. That is my opinion,ok
Cheesie.
It could be either…you’re right. But I wonder which it is.
Hey, cheesie!
I think that G.J. Prott is a mrs. because
1. She did explain that she and her sister were the Prott sisters.
2. She could’ve gotten married but never changed her last name.
Yeah, she might not have changed her name, but in the old days, most women did change.
I might be the second or third to agree with you, Cheesie.
