The Title of My Second Book

I promised in my first book that I’d tell you what the title of my second book would be. The title is: Cheesie Mack Is Cool in a Duel

Well…it’s out and in the stores. You can read all about it here.

I’m not going to give away much about the story, but I can tell you that it all takes place

…during the summer
…at Camp Windward
…on Bufflehead Lake
…in Maine.

My adventure includes:

1. Operation Bus Blaster
2. A toilet on the wall
3. Roboto
4. A Double Wobbly disaster
5. JAMPAC
6. Snakes
7. And the scariest lights-out story ever told!

    1. Book #2 is already written, but maybe in book #3. If there’s a “zany” character in it, you’ll know who I got the idea from.

  8. Hello-I am writing this to Cheesie Mack, whom I met last spring. If you remember correctly, you came to the Flintridge Bookstore and Coffee House in La Canada and Mrs. Linka and her book club were there.
    I just got to read the preview of Cheesie Mack is Cool in a Duel and I LOVE it!!!!!! My favorite part is the scary story. When Mrs.Linka asks me, I will tell her I give it a 15 out of ten!

    I hope you will come visit us again next year.

    The man who mysteriously wrote his first name on the cover of your book,(Steve Cotler) has come to my school! He is autographing books and is really funny! He told us about the 2nd book of the “Cheesie” series. WOW!Bloody nose? Fell in the toilet? WENT PEE IN HIS PANTS?! Funny! I can not wait until June 2012!

    1. Mary is a very good name. But since I use the names of the kids in my middle school, you’ll have to wait to see if there’s a Mary in it.

    1. I really like the name Maya, but my second book is already written and in the publisher’s factory already. Once I get started on my THIRD book, I’ll see if your name fits into the story. I can’t promise, however.

    I hope you write a book where Cheesie tops his sister in the point contest 😀
    When I read Cheesie’s name was “Ronald Mack” it made me wish instead of Mack being his last name, it was his middle name and Donald was his last. 😛

    1. Yep, Deeb and Pandora…two good names.
      As for the Point Battle, it all depends on what happens in the future, but I am DEDICATED to beating her.
      Last name Donald? Haha. I almost never go McDonald’s. Read page 192.

    2. I try not to either. I’ve never liked fast food [funny cause I’m a total food junkie] but McDonalds is probably my least favorite. 😛

    1. Your question sort of surprised me. Maybe you haven’t read my book? In it I describe my pet. A dog. Her name is Deeb. It’s on pages 50-51.

  37. I can’t wait, but what are the titles of the other 8 books you are going to publish?

    1. I have no idea! Titles are often the last thing that gets decided. My editor at Random House helps me decide on a title for each book AFTER it is written. So all I know now is the title for my second book: Cheesie Mack Is Cool in a Duel.

    1. Birthday? Come to your house? I bet you live far away from me. I live in Massachusetts. I am really good in baseball and football, but not so much in basketball because I am short. I don’t play a lot of video games (Georgie does…and he’s really good!) because I read and write (duh…you read my book!) a lot.

    3. Montgomery Alabma wow thats cool cause my language arts teacher is reading a story and the story takes place in Montgomery oh and the story is about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and the Montgomery bus boycott

    1. I made up a title, but Random House, the company that prints and distributes my books, always gets to decide if it’s a good title. I’m waiting…just like you.
