After my father looked in the back pocket of Goon’s shorts, he said, “Based on the evidence, I know exactly what occurred.”
Later I asked Dad about the evidence, but he said, “Case closed.”
It’s a mystery to me. If you have a good idea of what my Dad knew, please comment below.
The ticket stubs
I don’t think she’d be that careless.
She threw it away, but left a small, wet piece or she looked ” guilty”.
Could be. My dad never told.
there was something because goon would know if the tickets were in her own pocket or not. this also explains why goon rejected tacking of her pants. (lol)
guys, it cant be that it was a red stain because if she got wet she would have changed clothes. and you guys said that the water caused the ticket to leave a stain!
Maybe she dried off by the time she got home. It was hot, you know.
there had to be something because goon would know if there was something in her own pockets.
Maybe not… People don’t always know what’s in every pocket. Especially if it’s small or flat.
i think nothing was in it
Could be. My dad is really tricky.
I think it was nothing, he just wanted to see if she would confess before he made any accusations
I know goon kept saying it was a lie wich got his sucpicions up and he suddnly knew you were telling the truth. That’s when your dad said goon, tell the truth and their will be little punishment but if you lie you get in big trouble
Could be…but Goon is very sneaky.
Since there was a water party right after Goon put the tickets in her pocket I bet some of the red on them leaked off and stained her shorts.(Na-Nana-booboo…On Goon!)
It might have been the ticket stubs or… it could have been another prank Goon was planing
Cheesie u didn’t answer my other question. Do u come to the schools with Steve Cotler? Please reply A.S.A.P! 😃😃😃☺️☺️☺️😊😊😊😜😜😜
Yeah I have heard of it! But can u just tell me how u can be a real and fictional kid at the same time?
That’s what realistic fiction is all about.
I have already read the first book and I am re-reading it and I haven’t got to that part yet, but I kind of read by that page and I think maybe the ticket stubs fell out of her pocket and Dad found it.
Hmm. That’s an interesting possibility…
Thanks for answering! Are u actually real? If you are, then did those things that u wrote yearbook are they real and true? Please reply as soon as you can! Thanks! 😄😄
Everything in my books is realistic and true, and it all actually happened to me. I am a real, fictional 11-year-old kid from Gloucester, MA.
How can u be real and fictional at the same time? Please reply as soon as u can! And one more thing if u are real and fictional at the same time (if that is even possible?!😃😃) do u come with Steve colter when he goes to schools? Please reply A.S.A.P!
Have you ever heard of “realistic fiction”?
I think because he asked what color it was, his evidence was the red tickets and there could have been a red stain on her pocket too and u probably didn’t see it.
Could be…
shes mean hes smart(i think) and he probly didn’t like kevin
Nah. My dad didn’t have a negative opinion of Kevin.
SHE HAD A RED STAIN IN HER POCKET, WAS BEING DUMB AND KEEPING IT IN HER POCKET, OR……………………….. ACCTUALY, I RAN OUT OF IDEAS
Red Stain in pocket.
Maybe…it’s a good possibility.
cheesies dad asks what color the ticket was so there was probabley a red stain since there was water everywhere
I bet you’re right, but my father is NOT talking.
I think the ticket stub was on her jeans pocket because she got smashed in a lot of water at the pool party and she had to put the ticket in her pocket and you said you saw it in your pocket so she it is possible that the red tickets has rubbed off and she didn’t know and the time was on her pants to wash and you said she was wearing the same shorts when she got home so it is possible that the red tickets die put on her pocket and they’re still tiny little piece left so it is possible that there was red dye on her pants
That is a very good theory…but we will never know because my dad will never tell.
She probably ripped up the evidence or Kevin has it but cheesie I know you know if he did find evidence
Actually I don’t know! My dad is very good at not telling me everything.
this book isgood
Thanks, Secret P.
i totattly do not know, but your sister’s a git.
Hiiiiiii Mack I like your books!!!!!!!!!
I like his books also
I LOVE THE BOOK CHEESIE MAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SORRY CHEESIE MACK
Thanks, Bridget.
goon is really slow
I LOVE CHEESE BURGERS AND PIZZA!!!!!!!!!!THERE THE BEST
Don’t you think she would have totally denied it if she was not guilty? Her silence speaks volumes!
Hard to know. She’s very tricky.
I think the shorts were slightly wet and the red tickets sort of “bled” into the fabric leaving a red stain
Could be…
Ugh! Older siblings can be a huge pain! I have 3 older siblings ad they are all teenagers.
Yep. They can be. But my mom says her best friends in the whole world are her sisters, and they were HUGE enemies when they were kids. So maybe it works out in the end.
I guess your right, or your mom is right. Brothers can be like that too.
or mabe she looked so guilty her dad knew she did it
Could be. He’s really good at figuring out things like that.
maybe your right
The red tickets would have left a stain on the shorts because they got wet at the pool party.
That seems likely, but my dad never told.
she didn’t get wet, she was just doing the tickets not playing in the water.
when you get paper wet, like a bright red ticket, some of the paper gets sticky like. you could probably see bright red parts of the ticket in the pocket
That could be it!
Your dad never had any evidence. Your dad knew that if he said he had evidence, he could get Goon to spill the beans.
You might be right. My dad is pretty clever.
The ticket ripped up
Maybe. That would’ve proved she was guilty.
The red color bled onto her pants
That’s really possible, but my dad isn’t sayin’.
I think it bled color onto her pockets when she got wet too
That is really possible. But I’ll never know.
He had no evidence
HOW DID IT HAPPEN?
idk. i can’t go to your house and simply ASK your dad what happend!!!!!!!!
Even if you came all the way to Gloucester, it would be no use. My dad won’t tell.
The total truth is that Goon ripped them in parts when you didn’t look and threw them in the trash so she walked away because she didn’t have them. Case Closed!
I think that Goon went to her bedroom and put the stubs in her bookcase or dresser and then went into where her dad called her and then she confessed. Then he didn’t find the stubs but he didn’t need to look because she confessed.
She did not confess. I was there. She just stood there. But my dad knew the truth. How he did it…I don’t know.
She should have gotten rid of the evidence right away.
It obviously got wet and the ink ran. Because one time I got one of your books wet and that happened to a towel.
That’s a possibility.
Maybe there is a stain from the ticket because her pants got wet.
Could be. My dad won’t say.
Nothing…just stopping to say hi. Great book!
Thanks, Leon.
since the tickets were red, the color bled onto her pants.
Could be…
Th raffle picking was at the end of the party, right? So if Goon had the stubs in her pocket the whole time, isn’t there a good chance of her shorts getting wet at a water-themed party? If her shorts got wet, the bright red stubs would have created a bright red stain in the pocket of Goon’s shorts. That way, Goon might have gotten rid of the stubs…
I think that is a really good theory. I asked my Dad if you are right, but he clammed up.
I think that a little bit of red dye got left in goon’s pocket that’s why your dad asked what color it was
I say there was’t anything but just so Goon would say the truth he said there was evidence but there really was not.
Could be. My dad is really tricky.
I think that when she was at the party, her pants got wet and then red of the tickets bled onto her pants, and when she took the tickets out to throw them away, she didn’t check for stains.
That’s sort of what I think.
miss crespo let goon/june know not to throw them away
I don’t think so. Goon ran off before Mrs. Crespo could really do anything.
