Overhead Backward Toe Toss (The stuff on this webpage was mentioned on page 137 in my book)

Hi! Cheesie said it was okay, so I am Georgie Sinkoff writing this page instead of Cheesie Mack.

I can do a neat trick with my toes. Cheesie wrote about it in his book:

Georgie just grabbed his wet swimsuit off the floor Cheesie is right! I am an excellent athlete. -Georgiewith his toes and flipped it backward up over his head. Georgie is a very excellent athlete. He didn’t even look. He just stuck his hands out in front of him, and the suit flew over his head and landed—plop—right on them. (I cannot do this. But I have a diagram of how to do it on my website. You can try it if you want.)

drawing of an aircraft carrier with a plane taking offCheesie asked me to do the diagram of how I do it. So here are some pictures I drew. I want to be a cartoonist when I grow up. Or else a Navy fighter pilot on an aircraft carrier.

  1. Stand right over your bathing suit. Or underwear.
A boy standing with a swimsuit on the floor in front of him
  2. Make sure there are no breakable things around you. Like lamps, flower vases, or valuable knickknacks that your parents will kill for if you break them.
Drawing of a boy with a thought bubble containing a broken lamp and vase
  3. Grab your bathing suit with your toes. Hold your arms out in front with your palms up.
Drawing of a boy picking up a bathing suit with his toes
  4. Flip your leg backwards and up, and let go with your toes at the end of your flip.
Drawing of a boy kicking a bathing suit backwards over his head
  5. Your underwear will fly up over your head and land in your hands.
Drawing of a boy smiling and holding the bathing suit

If it doesn’t work, you have to practice. It took me a long time to get good at this.

Cheesie now writing:

Please tell me if you can do this trick.I still cannot do it!

Comments from my Readers & Friends

  1. It is pretty easy have you tried a phone it is cool when i tried it landed in a pool

  2. Wow! I tried it, lets say it took me a few days though. Yay! I can show it of to my siblings now!

  3. Hey, tell Georgie (or if he’s online) that he’s awesome and that 1 of my friends looks just like him. Also, please mention in the next book what you are going to be for Halloween, please?!

    1. You came to my school, Alexander Graham Bell School! I remember when you came into our library and we thought you called you Mr. Daisy! Remember that? If not, you came to our auditorium, and talked to a girl named Sofie!!!

  4. ggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t do it! I can get about halfway up my back and then it falls. so that stinks.

  5. Another way to do this is to lay on your back on the ground, put your item in your toes, and sort of do a backwards half-sommersault and fling the item over your head

  6. I can do that, but I only did it once or twice. Maybe three times, but I have been practicing it ever since. I’m still as good as when I started. I’m really jealous of Georgie because he can do it REALLY well.

  7. Try #1; Hit the back of my neck.
Try #2; Flew out behind me.
    Try #3… Never happened.

By the way, I think the drawings are cool, Georgie!!!

  8. Well, I am going to try it but i think it is going to fail please be patient and if i don’t e-mail you again don’t freak out.

    1. It is really hard. I cannot do it either. I think it has to do with the way your knee bends or something.

  9. my dad when he did it he threw it to hard and it land on breakables and knocked it over ,but it did not break ,thankfully.
